Logan started karting in 2008, winning in many championships across America like CIK-FIA World KF-Junior Championship and WSK Champions Cup – OK.
He made his single-seater debut in F4 UAE Championship with Team Motopark driving with Jonathan Aberdein. He finished on the podium 15 times out of the 18 races, finishing 2nd in the championship behind his teammate with 261 points.
He made a switch to F4 British Championship, driving for Carlin with Lucas Alecco Roy, Patrik Pasma and Jamie Caroline. Logan finished 3rd behind Oscar Piastri, winning twice in Rockingham Motor Speedway and Silverstone Circuit. He also claimed 10 podiums in the 30 races.
Logan made his Formula Renault debut, driving in Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula Renault Northern European championship. Although he was a guest driver, he finished 8th and 9th in two races. In the NEC championship, he competed in 2 races and accumulated 24 points, finishing 23rd. For the following year, he once again competed with R-ace GP, this time driving for the full season. In the Eurocup, he drove with Max Fewtrell, Charles Milesi and Victor Martins. Logan achieved 3 wins and 7 podiums meaning he finished 4th in the standings behind Ye Yifei. In NEC, he drove alongside the same in Eurocup: Max Fewtrell, Charles Milesi, Victor Martins and Gabriel Gandulia. Sargeant won once in Monza and came onto the podium 3 times including both times in Pau Grand Prix. He classified 5th in the standings behind Sharon Scolari.
FIA Formula 3 Championship
He made his Formula 3 debut with Carlin Buzz Racing in 2019, driving with Teppei Natori and Felipe Drugovich. Logan gained 5 points: 1 in Circuit Paul Ricard sprint race, 2 in Red Bull Ring and 2 in Monza’s feature race. He finished 19th in the final classification.
Sargeant also competed in the 2019 Macau Grand Prix with Carlin Buzz Racing. In the qualifying race, he finished 6th. In the main race, Logan held off Christian Lundgaard to take 3rd place, meaning he was on the podium with Richard Verschoor and Jüri Vips.
For the 2020 season, he has been signed on by Prema Racing, the team that dominated the championship prior to this season. He will be driving with Oscar Piastri and Frederik Vesti.
