Théo started his karting career aged 2, driving in France. Here, he won a multitude of championships like Championnat de France and Championnat Régional PACAC.
Pourchaire started to compete in single seaters, racing in French Formula 4 with FFSA Academy. He was ineligible to score in the main championship as he was too young but he still competed in the junior category. Here he claimed 16 wins out of the 21 races he competed in, including 20 podiums. With 408.5 points, he finished 1st in the junior standings ahead of Reshad de Gerus.
Théo moved up to ADAC Formula 4, competing with US Racing-Charouz Racing System, driving alongside Roman Staněk, Arthur Leclerc and Alessandro Ghiretti. He won the championship with 4 wins and 12 podiums, claiming 258 points. His closest rival, Dennis Hauger, was 7 points behind him.
FIA Formula 3 Championship
Théo Pourchaire is making his debut in the Formula 3 championship, driving for ART Grand Prix. He’ll be seated alongside Alexander Smolyar and Sebastián Fernández, with Alexander being a rookie and Sebastián into his 3rd year (with one being spent in the previous European championship).
