History
Charouz Racing System made their motorsport debut at International Formula 3000. Since then, they have gone on to win 8 team’s championships and 8 driver’s championships. Current to 2020, they compete in Formula 2, Formula 3, ADAC Formula 4 and Italian Formula 4. Charouz were also known as Lotus in the World Series Formula V8 3.5.

In some of their earlier work, the team participated in the European Championship of Circuit Races’ 1600 cc division in a Toyota Corolla and by the time they reach 1992, they had cars prepared for special cup series for Pumas, Ford Fiestas and Escort RS 2000s. They have competed in European Rally Championships since 1998.

In 2005 when the A1 Grand Prix series was debuted, Charouz made the A1 Team Czech Republic. They competed through until 2008, taking 12th twice in the teams championship, 18th and 19th with only one win. 2007 marked the year the team entered endurance racing with the Le Mans Series.

FIA Formula 3
The teams only FIA Formula 3 experience was the 2019 championship where they raced with Fabio Scherer, Lirim Zendeli and Raoul Hyman where they claimed 7, 6 and 2 points to place 17th, 18th and 22nd in the standings; leaving the team 8th in the teams championship.

For their FIA Formula 3 Season, the team will be joined by Finnish driver Niko Kari in car 23, Brazilian driver and rookie Igor Fraga in car 24 and German driver David Schumacher in car 25.
