Career
Pascal started karting in 2007 where he took his first win in the DMV Bundesmeisterschaft Junior. He progressed to take home a second win in the 2008 Stefan-Bellof Pokal. He continued to kart through 2008 and 2009 before graduating to the ADAC Formel Masters in 2010 with ADAC Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. He took home four podiums, of which one was a win, to finish 6th in the standings. He returned to the series with the team for 2011 where he improved, taking 8 wins out of his 13 podiums to place him first in the championship.

Wehrlein then graduated to the Formula 3 Euro Series for 2012 with Mücke Motorsport for a full season. He took ten podiums and a single win to finish second in the standings. Alongside this, he joined the team in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship where he took 5 podiums and a single win to finish 4th. Pascal also raced with the team in both the Masters of Formula 3 and the Macau Grand Prix where he finished 5th and 4th. Wehrlein stuck with the team for a second year in 2013 where he raced 3 races in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship. He took a podium in every race, one being a win, to place him 14th in the standings. He also debuted in the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters for 10 races but only managed 3 points and 22nd in the standings. Pascal returned back to DTM with the HWA Team in 2014 for ten races, taking his first win in the series and 46 points to place him 8th. He stuck with HWA for his third year in the series where he took 3 podiums, 2 wins and 169 points to finish 1st. He made the return to DTM with Mercedes-AMG Motorsport in 2018 for 20 races where he took a single podium and 108 points to finish 8th.

In 2014, Wehrlein debuted in Formula One with Mercedes AMG Petronas as a test driver. He returned for a second year in 2015 while also joining Sahara Force India. He returned back to only Mercedes for 2016 while also racing with Manor Racing MRT for 21 races to collect a single point and 19th in the standings. For the following year, Pascal completed 19 races with Sauber F1 Team in 2017. He took five points to finish 18th. He headed back to Mercedes in 2018 as a test driver before joining Scuderia Ferrari as a test driver in 2019.

FIA Formula E
Wehrlein made his debut in FIA Formula E during the 2018 to 2019 sSeries with Mahindra Racing He took a single podium in his rookie year to take 58 points and 12th in the standings. He currently still races with the team in the 2019 to 2020 season where he currently sits at 14th with 14 points. He drives alongside his team mate, Jerome D’Ambrosio.
